Anak-anak kenalah mentaati ibu bapanya kerana inilah perintah Tuhan.

Have you seen a lego Church?

This is amazing! Someone certainly is talented and patient to create such
a masterpiece.

LEGO CHURCH..........

A few quick facts:

  • How long to build it? It was about a year and a half of planning, building and photographing.
  • How many pieces of LEGO to build it? more than 75,000
  • How big is it? About 7 feet by 5 1/2 feet by 30 inches (2.2 m x 1.7 m x .76 m)
  • How many LEGO people does it seat? 1372
  • How many windows? 3976
  • It features a balcony, a Narthex, stairs to the balcony, restrooms, coat rooms, several mosaics a nave, a baptistry, an altar, a crucifix, a pulpit and an elaborate pipe organ

True as it that creativity makes a good desgin, however, the true Chuch of Jesus Christ lies not on person effort but in Christ Himself. It is the Lordship of Jesus Christ makes the foundation of the church.

One of the statement in the Apostle Creed which says "The Holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints: He is the head os this body".

Samuel J. Stone composed a hymn titled The Church's One Foundation. This hymn reminded us again to reflect the Lordship of Jesus on His church. When he composed this hymn, he was combacting some liberal scholars tht threatened to destroy the great cardinal doctrines of the Anglican Church.

Samuel believed that church is a place for meeting the needs of people. Samuel who is a pastor ministered and helped the poor and underpriviledge people in London East End. People from ground, various background and life finds his church a place of worship and a center of presenting their needs.

Church is a spiritual hospital for hurting humanity and never meant to be a private club for the well of people. Church is a palce where people meet regularly for worship, inspiration, instruction and fellowship. Christ is the Head where people model after His love for one another.

Lets give thanks for our church and for our fellow believers from local to universal where Christ is the Head.

Hymn : THE CHURCH'S ONE FOUNDATION

The Church’s one foundation
Is Jesus Christ her Lord,
She is His new creation
By water and the Word.
From heaven He came and sought her
To be His holy bride;
With His own blood He bought her
And for her life He died.

She is from every nation,
Yet one o’er all the earth;
Her charter of salvation,
One Lord, one faith, one birth;
One holy Name she blesses,
Partakes one holy food,
And to one hope she presses,
With every grace endued.

The Church shall never perish!
Her dear Lord to defend,
To guide, sustain, and cherish,
Is with her to the end:
Though there be those who hate her,
And false sons in her pale,
Against or foe or traitor
She ever shall prevail.

Though with a scornful wonder
Men see her sore oppressed,
By schisms rent asunder,
By heresies distressed:
Yet saints their watch are keeping,
Their cry goes up, “How long?”
And soon the night of weeping
Shall be the morn of song!

’Mid toil and tribulation,
And tumult of her war,
She waits the consummation
Of peace forevermore;
Till, with the vision glorious,
Her longing eyes are blest,
And the great Church victorious
Shall be the Church at rest.

Yet she on earth hath union
With God the Three in One,
And mystic sweet communion
With those whose rest is won,
With all her sons and daughters
Who, by the Master’s hand
Led through the deathly waters,
Repose in Eden land.

O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we
Like them, the meek and lowly,
On high may dwell with Thee:
There, past the border mountains,
Where in sweet vales the Bride
With Thee by living fountains
Forever shall abide!

Thy Words are beautiful, wonderful and of Life

Study it carefully, think of it prayerfully,
Till your heart its precepts dwell;
Slight not its history, ponder its mystery,
None can e'er prize it too fondly or well.

Hymn : Wonderful Words of Life by Philip P. Bliss in 1874 while preparing his first Sunday School paper titled Words of Life. This hymn speaks to both young and old on the importance God's word in our life.

Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life,
Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life;
Words of life and beauty teach me faith and duty.

Refrain

Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life,
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life.

Christ, the blessèd One, gives to all wonderful words of life;
Sinner, list to the loving call, wonderful words of life;
All so freely given, wooing us to heaven.

Refrain

Sweetly echo the Gospel call, wonderful words of life;
Offer pardon and peace to all, wonderful words of life;
Jesus, only Savior, sanctify us forever.
